New Moon Workshops
At New Moon Essentials, we’re developing a series of inclusive, engaging workshops for young people, parents, schools, and workplaces, that are all focused on building understanding, reducing shame, and supporting those who menstruate. These sessions will empower participants with knowledge, confidence, and practical tools to create period-positive environments.

Periods Without Shame:
Empowering Young People
A fun, interactive session that helps young people understand what’s happening in their bodies, how to manage periods confidently, and how to talk about it without embarrassment. We cover topics like choosing the right products, managing pain, tracking cycles, and supporting friends.
Supporting with Confidence:
Parents & Caregivers Workshop
This workshop provides practical tools and language for parents and caregivers to guide young people through puberty and menstruation with openness and confidence. We discuss creating supportive home environments, understanding products, emotional changes, and how to respond when your child feels anxious or embarrassed.

Period Positivity:
Schools & Services
This professional development workshop equips educators and youth service staff to support menstruating students with sensitivity and understanding. It explores inclusive language, accessibility in facilities, product availability, managing stigma, and responding to discomfort or absence compassionately.
Menstrual Health & Inclusivity:
Workplace Wellness
A modern, evidence-based session to help organisations support employees who menstruate. We cover the impact of cycles on wellbeing, workplace accommodations (flexible breaks, uniforms, rest spaces), and ways to normalise menstrual health in wellbeing policies.
